Merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate.
This year was extra special for me since it was the first year I hosted Christmas Eve dinner in our new house. You might remember last year our home was under renovations and I wasn't able to invite my family over. Ever since I was a little girl I always dreamed of hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner and this year I finally did.
I made a variety of traditional Dominican dishes such as potato salad, pastelon de platanos maduro (ripe plantain casserole), lasagna, moro (rice with pigeon peas), roasted chicken and a few more untraditional dishes like my favorite sweetgreen salad; the Harvest Bowl which was a hit!
While growing up my family always opened gifts at midnight on Christmas Eve. This year, I wanted to continue the tradition since my mom, sister and nephew came over. So here we are being naughty and opening up our gifts hours before Christmas day. #SorrySanta
This year was also very special because it was baby James first Christmas. My little nugget is already six moths and I cannot tell you how crazy in love I am with him. He certainly has been thee best gift we have ever received.
There's no surprise that after spending hours in between cooking, cleaning and taking care of James that I had zero time to get glammed up like I do annually. but it's ok. There's always next year right?
I'm just happy my family enjoyed themselves and made new memories.
I hope you all had a wonderful time with your loved ones.
Now, who's ready for 2019!!
happy holiday, love your post.cheap prom dresses
