Yellow Waves

Pops of yellow have always been my favorite when styling an outfit. Sometimes I have to hold back because I always want to wear it. The color is almost an instant reminder that everything is going to be OK. It's the bright, cheerful waves that always puts a huge smile on my face when I wear it. Is that crazy!? 

Today I've added this henri Bendel cross body bag and SJP pointed strap shoes to add a nice pop of color to the look. This non-iron loose fitted dress is by FoxCroft and its super comfortable, I want to live in it.

El color amarillo siempre ha sido unos de mis favoritos. A veces tengo que frenar porque siempre quiero usar lo. El color es casi un recordatorio instante en que todo va a estar bien. Es las ondas luminosas y alegres que siempre pone una gran sonrisa en mi cara cuando me lo pongo. Creen que soy loca!?

Hoy he añadido esta cartera de Henri Bendel y unos zapatos de SJP para añadir un bonito toque de color a la mirada. Este vestido es de FoxCroft y es súper cómodo, yo quiero vivir en el.

I was recently introduced to Foxcroft and instantly felt a connection with their styles. There was a year in my life (2012) where I would only wear loose fitted dresses and pointed strapped shoes.. and this look totally took me back to those days. A lot of Foxcroft styles are loose fitted and I'm really into that. My next purchase will be this beautiful blue wrap skirt here.......

I'm wearing a size 4 (petite). I'm normally a size 2 however they didn't have my size and it still looks great. I love how Foxcroft offers a variety of styles for petite and plus sizes along with regular sizes.The material on the items are soft and very comfortable. This dress is also available without sleeves here. I can't wait for warmer days so I can take this dress out to the Hamptons and enjoy long walks on the beach. 

I wore this look on our recent trip to Lake Placid, NY during Spring break. I rue wearing these shoes because after walking for a few minutes they became very uncomfortable. Perhaps I need a bigger size? I mean, they look beautiful on but they are just really tight on the ankle. I have the same shoe in white and these are the only ones that fit this way and I just don't know why. I'm taking them to my local shoe repair shop to get them stretched out. I hope that helps, these are my favorite!

Me presentaron recientemente a Foxcroft  y al instante sentí una conexión con sus estilos. Hubo un año en mi vida (2012) en el que sólo usaba vestidos sueltos y zapatos atados .. y esta mirada totalmente me llevó de nuevo a esos días. Foxcroft tiene una gran cantidad de estilos de vestidos sueltos y me encantan todos. 

Estoy usando un talla 4 (petite). Normalmente soy una talla 2, sin embargo no tenían mi talla pero no se ve mal. Me encanta cómo Foxcroft ofrece una variedad de estilos para tallas pequeñas y grandes. Todos los artículos son suaves y muy cómodos. No puedo esperar días más cálidos, para tomar este vestido y irme a los Hamptons y disfrutar de largos paseos por la playa.

Llevé esta mirada en nuestro reciente viaje a Lake Placid, Nueva York durante las vacaciones de primavera. Lamento usar estos zapatos porque después de caminar durante unos minutos se pusieron muy incómodos. Tal vez necesito un tamaño más grande? Es decir, se ven hermosas puestos pero son simplemente muy apretados en el tobillo. Tengo el mismo zapato en color blanco y estos son los únicos que se ajustan de esta manera y yo no sé por qué. Los voy a llevar a mi tienda de reparación de calzados para ponerlos mas grades. Espero que eso ayude porque estos son mis favoritos!
