Growing up with hard working parents was always difficult around the holidays, especially when Father's Day came around. My dad lived in Republica Dominicana and I would only see him once a year because of his busy schedule. I've always had a stronger connection with my dad because we're so much alike. We look the same (no kidding) and even share the same name- Johnny. As I got older the connection with my Padre grew and now we're inseparable.
When we get together it's always a celebration. We cherish the little time we’re able to spend together and create endless memories. My dad is loyal, funny, selfless, humilde unlike anyone I've ever met. He thinks about you before thinking about himself. He's one of those people who you instantly love the minute you meet them. I'm the luckiest girl to have him when I need him the most and even when I don't. We speak twice a day and always have something to talk about.
My daughters are blessed to have a beautiful soul as their grandfather and I believe Father's Day should be celebrated every day.
If you’re undecided on what to get the ‘Dad’ in your life, here are a few things I loved from my latest visit to Target. I’ve also included direct links to where you’re able to find these great regalos.
These are GREAT – so adorable!!! I’m so amazed by the talent shared.
