Happy Monday guys!! I'm so happy to finally be back from Miami! If you follow me on instagram and twitter then you know I took a two day trip to MIA with Pantene. I will be sharing photos and more details in an upcoming post:)
Today (as you can see) I'm wearing shorts. This is something I never liked wearing while growing up. There's no particular reason why I never liked them.. I just never ever wore them. These are by Haute Hippie. I love how they can be worn with pops of colors for a night look or with this peach blazer by OVI (like this) for a day look.
Now, hats.. I honestly have a love/hate relationship with them. I tend to only wear hats when on vacation but lately I've been rocking them on my staycation {haha}. They add a luxury feel to any look. This one reminds me of Cuba or Miami. The color, design and material. Very very tropical. I took this hat to Miami (of course) and everyone loved it. On the plane I had two individuals ask me where I purchased it from. I will be getting a few more of these babies soon. Although, I think you only need one black and one white to kind-off match with everything.

Something else I've been digging is changing my hair here-and-there. The braid trend has been going on since Spring, nonetheless, now we are seeing it more than ever. The reason I love it is because I have a lot of hair and it's an easy way to style the hair without fussing, specially on those hot Summer days.

Hoy (como puede ver) estoy usando pantalones cortos. Esto es algo que nunca me ha gustado ponerme mientras crecía. Estos son por la marca Haute Hippie. Me encanta la forma en que se puede usar con toques de colores brillantes para un look de noche o con esta chaqueta melocotón para una mirada de día.
Ahora, hablemos de los sombreros. Sinceramente, tengo una relación de amor/odio con ellos. Tiendo a sólo usar sombreros cuando estoy de vacaciones, pero últimamente he estado usándolos a diarios. Añaden un toque de lujo a cualquier look. El color, el diseño y el material me recuerda a Cuba o Miami. Muy muy tropical. Me lleve este sombrero a Miami (por supuesto) y a todo el mundo le encantó. Dos personas en el avión me preguntaron donde lo compre. Voy a comprar unos cuantos más pronto. Aunque, creo que sólo necesita un blanco y un negro para combinarlo con todo.
La tendencia de trenzas ha estado sucediendo desde la primavera, sin embargo, ahora lo estamos viendo más que nunca. La razón por la que me encanta es porque tengo un montón de pelo y es una manera fácil de peinar el cabello sin hacer mucho trabajo, especialmente en los días calurosos de verano.
