What to wear on Mother's Day?

Mother's day is in two days (May 11th) Woohoo! I don't know about you but I love Mother's Day. No, no, it's not because of the gifts but because we're appreciated by not only our friends and family but by everyone else. You walk down the streets with your family and you hear everyone wishing you a happy Mother's Day. It's a nice feeling, you know. With that said, I've teamed up with Charlotte Russe to share a girly, classy and inexpensive way to look your absolute best on this special day. Whether you're taking mom to dinner or are celebrating for yourself, this look is for you.

El día de las madres es en dos días (11 de Mayo) Woohoo! Yo no sé ustedes, pero ami me encanta el Día de las Madres. No, no, no es por los regalos, sino porque somos apreciadas no sólo por nuestros amigos y familia, sino por todos los demás. Puedes caminar por las calles con tu familia y oyes a todo el mundo deseandote un feliz día de la madre. Es una sensación muy agradable. Con eso dicho, hoy estoy compartiendo un look dulce, elegante y de bajo costo para verse absolutamente hermosa en este día especial.

Red is the color of love and I adore wearing it as often as I can. Matching your lip color with an accessory is the oldest trick in the game and I'm doing just that with this Express clutch (similar here) and Ruby Woo lipstick (my all time favorite). The red pop from this black and white dress that makes any women feel girly and 15 again. I love the silhouette as it makes your upper body and waist super tiny. It also creates the illusion of nice hips. In order to wear this dress during the day it is necessary to wear a light colored blazer otherwise it will be too 'night time' look. I went with this peachy blazer that ties everything together and pops against the black. It also helps this look from being too provocative. As for the accessories, I kept everything minimal. A silver thumb ring, studded earrings and a black stone necklace. You can pair this with any black pointed toe shoes.

El rojo es el color del amor y yo lo adoro. Combinar su color de labios con un accesorio es el truco más viejo en el juego y estoy haciendo exactamente eso con este embrague Express (similar aquí) y Ruby Woo pintalabio (mi favorito). 

Este vestido de blanco y negro hace que cualquier mujer se siente femenina y de 15 años otra vez. Me encanta la silueta, ya que hace que su parte superior del cuerpo y la cintura se vea muy pequeña. También crea la ilusión de lindas caderas :) La chaqueta color de rosa une todo, ya que está ligeramente coloreado, salta sobre el blanco y negro y ayuda a este aspecto de ser demasiado provocativo. En cuanto a los accesorios, deje todo a mínimo. Un anillo de plata, pendientes chicos y un collar de piedra negro. Puede asociar esto con cualquier zapato negro.
