Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I have so much to be thankful for. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year because I get to spend time with my mothers side of the family and cook my heart out. I always put a ridiculous amount of love in everything I make but when it comes to Thanksgiving dinner I OD (which ofcourse is a good thing). Part of it is because I hardly spend time with them and I want them to make this special dinner part of there good memories. I have so many people to thank for giving me such an amazing year and amazing life. My blogaversary (december 11th) is coming up and so is my birthday (Decemeber 15th). I am so excited and I have to thank God, my family and my readers. That's all my life is about, literally. Here are some quotes that keep me going everyday and I hope they help you when you're feeling down.
"Strive for what you want in life and you'll achieve it"
"Ignore Ignorants and focus on the positive"
"Do not go where the path may lead, instead go where there is no path and leave a trail"
"Be you and be happy"
I literally can go on for hours but the point is, life is too short. Don't live it for others and don't dwell on the negative. Take a moment to say 'I love you' to those who are special to you. This Thanksgiving make it a priority to change your wrongs to right and live a better and positive life.
Now for the outfit details...
You all know my trick by now; when theres too much going on in the outfit, wear nude heels. This always balances everything and works perfectly. I love the pleated style and the fact that is high waisted which means it can be dressed down or up. I went with gold details through the outfit because this skirt has a gold belted waist. By adding these pyramid studs by Tanya Kara and this gorgeous diamond gold bangle by CB Luxe you complete the whole package. This outfit without this Indego Africa clutch would have been too boring for me. The clutch adds life and a unique aspect to this look.
Today I have a fun shoot with one of my favorite magazines. Wish me luck!
