Basic Monday

It's finally Fall! The time to pull out those oversized sweaters and warm boots. I have gotten many emails requesting me to show you a little more toned down outfit posts for those busy days. I was thrilled about my readers wanting a laid back look aka a lazy outfit. I thought the tittle 'Basic Monday' would go perfect with this look because it's the first day after the weekend and most of us either go back to work or to school. Therefore this can serve as great inspiration to those looking for an easy, simple yet trendy look.

Chambray shirts are pretty basic and easy to wear. I like adding a little bit of bold to even the simplest outfits. That's the result of this gorgeous necklace sent to me by BaubleBar. It was part of my "Monthly Mystery Makeover" package. I got this necklace and two bracelets which I will be featuring in future posts. It's so fun to style and the set only retails for $44. It adds a statement aspect + a great pop of color to this basic look. The peach blazer compliments the red in the necklace perfectly. Since this is a laid back look I wore simple black pants to tone things down. I wanted to still give you a little bit of a jazz in the outfit so I decided to add these pretty funky Not Rated boots. I normally stay away from anything that has any bling but I love a little challenge and these boots are comfy, also great for on-the-go.
