 Hey Trenders!

The second stop of my international trip is Bangladesh. The weather here is unbelievably beautiful this time of year- 82 degrees. Although I heart winter, I do like warm weather when on vacation. 

The fashion here is very colorful and conservative. Despite the layers of clothing worn by all women, it is actually very comforting to wear long loose fitting outer wear. Most salwar kameez are made from cotton, truly the best material to wear in hot climate. 

Currently there are some government issues going on that are causing locals to strike against the government. These conditions are leading to violent riots. Do to this situation my Singapore trip has been delayed :( However, I am enjoying the AMAZING food here. 

My internet connection has been very poor, that is the reason for the lack of posts. I have so many things I need do while here and I can't wait to share them with you.

Houndstooth Trousers

Finally leaving to Dubai in a few hours! What pleased me most is that finally I finished packing, for me that's the worst part of traveling. The best part of this trip is that my children get to come with me, as an official family vacation. I know I would not be able to be without them for two seconds. I am very excited to share this journey with you. Stay tuned for future posts.

Finalmente me boy a Dubai hoy! Lo que más me contenta es que por fin terminó de empacar, para mí esa es la peor parte de viajar.  La mejor parte de este viaje es que  mis hijas vienen conmigo, como unas vacaciones familiares oficial. Sé que no sería capaz de estar sin ellas durante dos segundos. Estoy muy emocionada de compartir este viaje con ustedes. Estén atentos para futuros posts.

I'm a sucker for open toe shoes and most of the times I get teased for wearing them in winter. So here is a little adjustment for those who want to wear open toe shoes in a colder climate. The addition of socks gives any outfit a touch of effort in addition to not freezing your toes.

Happy Friday Trenders!

I don't want to get caught up in the 'mom in jeans' world, believe me! But I've been super busy lately & the closest thing to me are always jeans. I know this is terrible, but I can't help myself. At least I'm sporting heels and not sneakers:) Anywho, with my departure in a couple of days I am trying to get as much done as I possibly can. With two daughters by my side at all times, it's not easy.. Wait, but it is!

I wanted to share with you this lifesaving bag by Aimee Kestenberg.

Carrying my camera, laptop, diapers, snacks, etc at all times is a pretty big deal for a working mom. This bag truly is the BEST and only bag to buy when looking for a stylish and functional diaper bag. My favorite thing is that despite of it being very large, the bag itself is light-weight so its perfect for stuffing your life in there. It comes in 3 different colors (blue, yellow and pink). I chose it in the color pink because I have two girls and pink goes hand-in-hand with my personality.

No quiero quedar atrapada en el mundo de 'madres con pantalones', créeme! Pero he estado muy ocupada últimamente y lo más cercano a mí siempre son los jeans. Sé que esto es terrible, pero no puedo ayudarme a mí mismo. Al menos estoy luciendo tacones y no zapatos de tenis :) De todos modos, con mi salida en un par de días estoy tratando de obtener la mayor cantidad hecho como me sea posible. Con dos hijas a mi lado en todo momento, no es fácil .. Espera, ¿pero lo es?

Quería compartir con ustedes esta bolsa de salvamento de Aimee Kestenberg.

Llevar mi cámara, ordenador portátil, pañales, meriendas, etc en todo momento es una gran cosa para una madre trabajadora. Esta bolsa es realmente la mejor y única bolsa para comprar en la búsqueda de una bolsa de pañales con estilo y funcional. Mi cosa favorita es que a pesar de que sea grande, la bolsa en sí es ligero por lo que es perfecto para el relleno de hasta su vida ayi dentro. Viene en 3 colores diferentes (azul, amarillo y rosa). Lo elegí el color rosa porque tengo dos niñas y rosa va mano a mano con mi personalidad.

Today I had to do loads of errands before heading to Dubai in a few days. I decided to go with jeans since is one of those items in my closet I can't live without. No matter if in heels or combat boots, jeans equal to plain comfort.  I love this 'Nicole' necklace by Shabana Khan that was sent to me a few days ago. The quality is very high and the versatilities are endless. This is definitely one of my favorite statement necklaces.

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week

 Although I couldn't make it to today's shows do to the 'blizzard', I decided to share with you my favorite Fall 2013 RTW collections (from this week) in Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.

A pesar de que no pude llegar a los espectáculos por la "tormenta de nieve", he decidido compartir con ustedes mis favoritas colecciones de Otoño 2013 RTW (de esta semana) en la Semana de la Moda Mercedes-Benz.

BCBG Max Azria

I'm always excited to see what BCBG Max Azria has in store for us each season. This could possibly be my favorite collection ever. Most of the looks were layered and all model's wore beanies + pointed heels. Must I say more?

Siempre estoy emocionada de ver lo que BCBG Max Azria tiene reservado para nosotros cada temporada. Esto podría ser mi colección favorita. La mayoría de los looks se colocaron en capas y cada modelo llevaba tacones puntiagudos + gorritas . ¿Debo decir más?

This show was spectacular! The breathtaking chandelier complimented the stunning designs and flawless models. Backstage Jason said "I wanted to project beauty- beautiful clothes and beautiful women" & he succeeded! These deep vivid blue eyes will be making its way to my outfit posts for sure.

Este show fue espectacular! La lámpara impresionante complamentieron a los diseños y modelos perfectos. Entre bastidores Jason dijo: "Yo quería proyectar belleza, ropa y las mujeres hermosas" y lo consiguió! Estos profundos ojos azules intensos hará su camino a los puestos de mi traje con seguridad.

Helmut Lang

They sold me with the patchwork of laminated silks and leather. Helmut Lang certainly stayed true to their manly roots with the oversized coats and tuxedos.

Me vendieron con el mosaico de seda laminada y cuero. Helmut Lang ciertamente se mantuvo fiel a sus raíces viriles con los escudos de gran tamaño y trajes de etiqueta.

This collection reminds me of the traditional salwar kameez with the knee long tops and matching bottoms. Now I have a few things in mind to purchase during my international trip.

Esta colección me recuerda a la tradicional salwar kameez con la parte superior de rodilla largas y pantalones combinados. Ahora tengo algunas cosas en mente para la compra durante mi viaje internacional.

Lacoste

I think Lacoste has stepped up their game with this collection. 

The collection turned out sporty with a luxurious feel. I like how prints were blown up, greens were a few shades lighter or darker than Lacoste's traditional hue.

Creo que Lacoste ha intensificado su juego con esta colección.

La colección resultó deportivo con un toque de lujo. Me encantaron los diferentes impresiones, los verdes eran unos tonos más claros o más oscuros que el tono tradicional de Lacoste.

With Valentines Day around the corner, I'm trying to give you as many outfit ideas as possible to inspire your choice in outfit for the occasion. If you're looking to wear minimal accessories for a night out, this dress is perfect.  I paired the dress with nude pumps because with a dress this statemental there is no need for anything else. These heels are part of my bow on heels obsession collection. I love them because even though at first glance they don't pop,  the bow is a simple touch of femininity.

Blues For Valentines

Today Cosmopolitan for Latinas third issue hit stores and I was happy to be one of the firsts to have received the issue on Thursday at the Cosmopolitan for Latinas readers panel. I met many successful Latinas who are so inspirational. Had a few chats with the Editor in Chief, Fashion Editor, Beauty editor and Web Editor. It was nice to have some much needed chats with real girls while giving the Editors feedbacks on the magazine. Thank you Cosmopolitan for Latinas for having me.
