Slightly Lavender(Kids)

Good morning Trenders! Today is the perfect weather to be outside and do some outdoor activities. So head out now, trust me!(if you're in the tristate area)

Here's Zareena's OOTD.

I wanted to put together something very comfortable yet fashionable. I love how the lavender and red work together somehow. This is something she can run in and still look adorable. She loved it!

When styling for my kids I like to go from high light to low dark and this is what I did here. I didn't want to add a dark belt because it would've thrown off the outfit. With the light pink belt, it keeps the look young and fresh. I also folded the pants up at the bottom to make it look more casual.

The bracelets were a must, having different color arm candy makes the look more fun and I think the color contrast works awesomely!

With all that color going on the shoes needed to be a bit simple. That's why I chose these affordable and comfortable shoes I found at Payless.

Red & Black

Happy Monday trenders! This rain in New York hasn't stopped me from shooting these past few days. Yesterday we swang by the city to celebrate Dominican Fathers Day with my family and I got to shoot before entering the restaurant. I wanted to keep it simple having a few shocking details. The statement earrings and the bag stay as the main focus. The dress is simple but very chic which is what i'm all about. If you guys visit the Saks website you will totally see a similar dress there which is awesome since I bought this one from Express for way cheaper.  

Me and this bag have become inseparable!

I love how the navy blue and off white is an unexpected combination with the red and black dress.

The collar on this dress is pretty cool because you can flip it up, which I would've done if it would have been cooler outside, this will make the dress look utterly different. 

 Now, the material on this dress is amazing! I've never owned a piece this comfortable. It's 65% rayon 30% nylon and here comes the best part 5% spandex!

I love how the zipper on the back makes the dress not so plain. So simple, so perfect!

Simplicity At Its Best

Hello Trenders! Today I wanted to wear my new Rebecca Minkoff bag that I instagramed last week.

I was waiting for the weather to get a bit chillier to pair it with my favorite blazer from New York and Company.  I also found these Bakers shoes which are exactly like the L.A.M.B shoes Kim Kardashian wore on a yacht in Miami last week. I wasn't able to find the L.A.M.B ones so I had to get these! Aren't they Fab?

Since I wear this blazer a lot I wanted to do something different with it. I flipped the collar upwards and it created this super cool shape! Something out of the ordinary I would say. I think It's classy with a modern twist.

The story behind this bag is pretty long! I've been eyeing it for quite a while now. I set a goal, and recently achieved it so as a reward I purchased it. Love all the details on it. It has become my favorite bag:)

Maximizing

I've been wearing a lot of maxi dresses this summer and like I showed you on Mixing Maxis I love styling them differently. I decided to add a few pins to this H&M dress I bought last year to make it look different and high fashion. I am so in love with the way it turned out! Will definitely be experimenting more with this technique.

Yesterday I posted a picture on my Instagram showing my first DIY project which was this vest I'm wearing today. I removed the long sleeves from this denim jacket and turned it into a vest. You like?

I wanted to keep my hair and dress as the center of attention for this reason I didn't wear accessories.
